Subject: amazing show
This show is sweet. The setlist is great with some cool teases. The sound quality is crisp though Jen comes through a little to high sometimes. It is nice to get a show where she is playing when she wasn't around for a while. The energy of the band is totally different when she is with them. You can tell they were all having a blast polaying together. Jen, stay with DBB, please!! Worth the download.

If you haven't heard these guys then you are missing out on one of the tightest performing bands in the Biz. Serious attention to detail and never noodling, check 'em out now 'cause they're back together. Oh, and the jamaican guy with them is Mystic Bowie...local artist who plays with the Tom Tom Club a lot.

Subject: Guest?
Does anyone know who the guest singer on BOOT is? Sounds like a jamaican musician.

Overall this is a great show but there are a few bits of digital noise here and there.

I went to this concert, they started like an hour late but it was so worth waiting for. It was probably the best concert ive ever been to (even better than second row seats to bb king). This is a concert worth downloading

All I can say is WOW! First off, this is a soundboard recording, so no worries on the quality... now...

THE SHOW! I don't think words can really do it justice. I had never seen DBB before, and had started listening post-breakup. This concert was a trip to get to, and even though DBB doesn't jam like Phish, my phriend still dragged my ass - good thing he did, 'cos I would've PHLIPPED if I'd missed this!

"Toad's! We been rockin' this place for ten years! 'Cos you can't let go! You won't let go! And we holdin' on tight! Holdin' onto the funk!"

...for the longest time I was devistated when DBB broke up and I missed the "last" show w/ Jen, as well as the 1st reunion at the vibes, but I got over it. When the chance to see 'em finally came around I was left w/ no choice but to go, and let me tell you, it was like Jen never left, I remember them rockin' and stuff, but man, it was as if I just saw 'em the day before. Their energy as well as the crowd at Toad's was insane, I always left their shows wanting more and that night was no different...I went in with the feeling of an oncoming acid frenzy, and left feeling the same fullness and satisfaction you feel after eating a 5 lb. slice of filet mignon, only I was still hungry...

This show was awesome! I hadn't seen Jen with DBB in what seemed like forever, and I was not disappointed - they blew the roof off Toad's, played everything you could have asked for, and tight as hell!!! Hopefully, this won't be a twice a year thing for them...
